Isn't this book mobile by theshophouse so charming? I love the detail - as the artist Lisa Occhipinti says about the piece: "I grouped the black and white illustrations together leading into a flourish of full-colored ones. Published in 1941 and dedicated to the author’s wife this piece has a loveliness about it." I think that's a slight understatement, don't you?
This is absolutely beautiful. I want is as much as I wanted the entire Veronica Bailey Postscript exhibition (http://www.veronicabailey.co.uk/veronica-bailey.html)
