Here at Love Mae we may have the girliest facade but that doesn’t mean we don’t have little men in our lives too.

In fact we like to think we have a cool side that is all for the boys.

We’ve got more than your normal crush on Meeri Anneli, in fact we couldn’t imagine Love Mae without her illustrated delights.

Meeri is a Finnish-Australian Illustrator and all round creative. Designing stationery during the day she admits to drawing endlessly in her spare time. Something we are so very grateful for.

New Kid on the block Winkelen has been giving us more than your normal dose of eye candy to look at. A new online magazine we think is going to be around for a while yet.

Recently they asked us Q and A on all things Love Mae and our Peta shared some of her replies…. read on for the interview.

Hope you love it :) We loved making it....

While it’s true our bamboo tumblers were designed with kids in mind, we’ve come to realise that they’re good for grown ups too and can be used to contain many things other than milk.

Durable and eco-friendly, they’re suitable for any outdoor activities where beverages will be required. We can imagine little fingers wrapping around tumblers of hot chocolate on camping trips. They’d be the perfect addition to any picnic set. And they make a nice change from those silly plastic champagne flutes at beachside sundowners (You know – the ones where the bottom always fall off and you can’t put your drink down!).

And as you can see, they double up as lovely vases and can used as stylish storage anywhere in the house for utensils, pencils and the like.

This week we are featuring this Bone China Origami Crane, by Have You Met Miss Jones.
I love the 'Have You Met Miss Jones' range. My personal favourite along with this origami crane is the Bone China Bulldog Lamp Base. (It might be due to my obsession of Bulldogs).

These sweet cranes are for sale in our shop in Stokers Siding, NSW, Australia for $16 each.
