We’ve had a crush on kids label Wovenplay for a long time – one look at these photos and you’ll see why. They’re the kind of thing you look at and think, “I wish it came in my size!”
When we heard
she’s opening a retail concept boutique in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, this weekend
we decided we might need to bring our next New York trip forward!
The spacious,
light-filled studio will operate as home base and production center for the
label and embody Katherine’s vision of play, creativity and art. Grown ups can drink coffee and mingle, the kids can play dress ups and everyone is
encouraged to relax and enjoy the space. Each weekend, a selection of limited
edition pieces will be available in store only.
And, as an
answer to our prayers, come June, Wovenplay will debut hand-printed, vintage
inspired tees and women’s swimwear for big people. A visit is definitely on our 'to do' list!
