I love nature, food, music, good conversation and I wont say no to a good organic wine.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Ch3\u003EHow did your \u003Ca href=\"http:\/\/www.bubbayumyum.com\/\"\u003EBubbaYumYum\u003C\/a\u003E food blog come about?\u003C\/h3\u003EMy little man Willow was born with some serious gut issues and has sensory\u003Cbr \/\u003Eprocessing disorder. I was told really early in the game that he was to avoid all dairy\u003Cbr \/\u003Egluten and grains to help heal his guts and work on a gentle low inflammation diet. I\u003Cbr \/\u003Ewent online and couldn't find one site that had loads of free, fun and interesting\u003Cbr \/\u003Erecipes for kids…..so I created Bubba Yum Yum and the rest is history.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Ch3\u003EWe believe that food nature’s medicine, can you tell us why is it so important to really consider your gut health and the affect it has on your nervous systems?\u003C\/h3\u003EBasically our gut is our second brain. They are connected by an extensive\u003Cbr \/\u003Enetwork of neurons and our gut can inform us as to weather we are hungry,\u003Cbr \/\u003Eexperiencing stress, if we've eaton the wrong thing. We need to listen to our gut to\u003Cbr \/\u003Eunderstand if its feeling sluggish or tired and we need to create a harmonious\u003Cbr \/\u003Eenvironment in there in order for us to thrive. We want easily digestible foods in their\u003Cbr \/\u003Etrue form. Mother Nature provides the very best foods, in the most beautiful colours.\u003Cbr \/\u003EWe are so lucky.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Ch3\u003ECan you share with us your favourite recipe for Willow?\u003C\/h3\u003EHe has sooo many… He truly loves the chicken nuggets. With loads of aioli.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Ch3\u003EHave you ever struggled getting him to eat healthy food?\u003C\/h3\u003EI was lucky in that I had no choice but to make sure he was eating nutrient dense food from the get go. My gorgeous fellow author and friend Helen Padarin is an incredible Natropath and\u003Cbr \/\u003ENutritionist and she always encourages families to include fermented foods early in a\u003Cbr \/\u003Echild's life. Not only will these food provide an array of enzymes and bacteria, but it\u003Cbr \/\u003Ealso opens their palate up for beautiful sour notes. Willow now loves olives and\u003Cbr \/\u003Ecapers and anchovies. Its awesome .\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Ch3\u003EWhat’s the best piece of parenting advice you have received?\u0026nbsp;\u003C\/h3\u003EIts none of your business what anyone else thinks and always choose the path of least resistance.\u003Cbr \/\u003Ehahah.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Ch3\u003EIs there anything you have swore you would never do as a parent but have found yourself doing?\u003C\/h3\u003EOh lord yes.
